Ikea Fun
For those of you that know me, you know that I have a bit of an Ikea obsession. I have their catalogues from the past 4 years, which have all been looked through many, many times and include post-it notes to mark the pages I love. It's a bit sad really... and going to Ikea is something I find a truly enjoyable experience. Lachie and I make regular trips to the Richmond store here in Melbourne, and I always have to drink a cup of the crappy coffee, even though I usually have about two mouthfuls and decide it's utter rubbish (but hey, for $2.95 for a refillable cup, it feels too good to pass up!) Anyway, I was having a peek at Decor8 the other day, and they featured a new(ish) Ikea site where people can post photos of their Ikea inspired interiors - and they are fantastic... it's like the stylists from Ikea have merged with more people with good taste, and the homes are beautiful and inspiring (especially when you know they are done on a budget - always a bonus in my eyes). Anyway, the site is called IkeaFamilyLive
above are some pics from the site

Some photos of Lachie

Hi Everyone - it seems that my poor old blog, after stuffing about with it last night, has lost almost all of it's photos and content... absolutely devastating!!! Oh well, but in the meantime, I will be trying to fix it (although I'm pretty sure I've lost the majority of the content, but I guess it's a good excuse to review what I want to do with the space etc - just trying to be positive!). So please excuse all of the blank photo boxes - hopefully it will be back to looking somewhat normal again very soon.

The Most Beautiful House Ever...
Mr Lachie

Here is our little man back in December. I don't know how it happened that he is almost a 1 year old boy... seems like this past year has gone frighteningly fast, with strange moments where time seemed to almost stop & I was wishing the pace would pick up (ie: sitting down for our 3rd feed in 45 minutes, when I really, really wanted to be reading my book/ sleeping/ doing something, anything else!).
I saw this beautiful video last night which I found via Sew Liberated . It's such a great reminder to try to enjoy this time, to cherish even the mundane stuff that is so easy to think of as the 'crummy' parts of being a mum, and a reminder to just be 'in the moment'.
