Wall Art

I just love these fantastic retro Recycled Wallpaper Kits by Dutch designer Inke Helland. They are all handcrafted using wallpaper offcuts, so no two designs are the same. Check them out at inhabitat.com - I think they would look fantastic in a baby's bedroom, or in my office.

Great Little Cafe

In a previous post, I mentioned the T-Bar as a fantastic place to drink Chai Lattes' in Adelaide - well I thought I would also put a bit of info about them up here too given that they are one of the first places I have to go to when I'm in Adelaide. They have now got three stores, the original at the markets in the city, at David Jones in rundle mall and a third store at Burnside shopping centre. As I've mentioned, I'm a huge fan of their Chai Lattes, but they also make a huge range of leaf teas which you can drink there or buy to take home with you...

Beautiful Kitchen

This kitchen caught my eye on More Ways to Waste Time & I just had to put up some pics of it too, it's got such a great mix between country and retro - the exact look I want to go for in my own kitchen...

Awesome Little Cafe

I wanted to let people know about this great little cafe around the corner from my house, which serves the best Chai Latte I've found in Melbourne (for all Adelaideans' it's almost as good as the T-Bar). The owners (Margie and Gabriel) are always so friendly and upbeat, and the atmosphere there is always relaxed and laid back. My husband and I head there most Saturday mornings for our Chai hit, and we are now compeltely hooked. Their web-address is madecafe.com.au if you are interested in checking them out.

Inspiring People - Maggie Beer

I am absolutely in awe of Maggie Beer - for those of you that don't know of her, she is a cook living in the Barossa Valley in South Australia (my home state!) who has made a name for herself as a cook, restaurant owner and business owner and has done all this while maintaing her own sense of style and grace, aswell as being committed to home grown, organic produce. Her passion and drive is so inspiring and wonderful - I only hope that I am able to be as full of life as she is when I'm her age!
